GCSE MEDIA Controlled Assessment Essay 2012

The two videos that i will be presenting is Jessie J'Do it like a Dude and Robin Thicke'Blurred Lines. Also Blurred Lines shows women in a negative stereotypical way.The men and women are represented in the music video do it like a dude because the women are fighting and smoking cigarettes also in one point in the video they look like they are doing drugs and playing poker. Also in the music video the women are doing very masculine dances showing the men the can do all of these things too.This is the opposite of the stereotype (because men usually smoke cigarettes).

In Jessie J'Do it like a Dude the mise-en-scene shows that at the beginning of the video Jessie J has a close up on her face and she has dark lipstick with spikes on them showing that they are not very inviting. Also the setting in is a room with men and women every where.In Robin Thicke'Blurred Lines,the setting looks like it is in a white room with women dancing around the men.

• I think that my powerpoint went very well because the layout was very good. 
• I also think that the images  went very well with the slides to show what was happening.
• Lastly I think that the presentation was strongly presented.

• Our powerpoint could have been better because it may could have had the music video playing in the background
• Also The paragraphs of writing could have been a bit longer and this wold develop my work better because because it would show that i know more about the topic
• Lastly i think that we could have put a bit more detail in the questions to show people more detail about pink stupid girls

Space Students is a program with a school where all the students have to go into space and to see what it is like to be in space and to know what it is like to be in the atmosphere. Students can wear whatever they want and bring whatever they want.And to see all different planets and to see how far the planets are.
The thing that is different about this program is that it has never been shown on television before and and you wouldn't think that there would be a show like this. School on the show starts at 9:00 am and ends at 4:00 am.The shows starts at 7:00 p.m. and ends at 9:00 p.m.

I made my logo by using the magnetic lasso tool for the rocket and i also used the gradients for the title and the bubble around it so it could have a better effect for the background.I also think that my logo really fits and goes with my background especially with the colours.

I rate my logo a 8-10 because i think that it has very good and it it has unique aspects to it such as the gradients of the logo and the magnetic lasso tool i think i have used very well on the rocket in the corner.I think people will understand my logo to show that it is a programme that the students have to go into space and find out loads of things.The sort of things i could have done better would be to put more pictures onto my logo and maybe a bit more writing.when i learn loads more skills i will improve on my work.

Today I went into my car and on the way I listened to the RADIO.When I got back I turned on the TELEVISION and watched the arsenal game.
